Community Trade Mark Certificates are now Electronic

As of December 9, 2009, the registration certificates issued by OHIM for Community Trade Marks are fully electronic. No paper certificates will be issued by OHIM in future and the electronic PDF version will be the "original certificate".

For those clients who have requested correspondence in hard copy by regular mail we will of course continue to send paper copies (i.e. printouts of the certificate) , but as our preferred correspondence method is electronic, the majority of clients will receive a reporting email to which we will attach the electronic certificate in PDF format as obtained from OHIM.
