Dr. Maura O'Connell is speaking at the PhD course on Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at NovaUCD on 21 April 2010. She will cover the topic of Integrity, Scope and Strength of IP.

The course deals with innovation and knowledge transfer, specifically transferring technology from research to the knowledge economy. It covers the management process required to transform an innovative idea into a commercial opportunity or business proposition and details the stages and processes involved in the creation, capture, management and commercialisation of intellectual property (IP).
