Niamh Hall

Solicitor, Community Trade Mark Attorney; LL.B. (Trinity College, Dublin); Diploma in Commercial Litigation (Law Society of Ireland)


Niamh deals with all aspects of national, Community and International Trade Marks, from trade mark clearance to registration, exploitation and conflicts, as well as domain name dispute complaints. She joined FRKelly in 2002 after several years with a leading Dublin law firm. She qualified as an Irish Registered Trade Mark Agent and a Community Trade Mark Attorney in 1999 and as a solicitor in 2002. She also holds a Diploma in Commercial Litigation from the Law Society of Ireland.

Niamh has published extensively on trade mark matters in periodicals such as the World Trademark Law Reports, the Marques newsletter, Irish Business Law journal and Business Plus magazine. She is one of the contributors to an upcoming commentary on the Community Trade Mark Regulation and the Irish contributor to McGrady on Domain Names.

Niamh has tutored in the Law School of the Law Society of Ireland on intellectual property and information technology law. She is the Vice President of the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and Chairperson of their Trade Mark Laws and Practice Committee, a board member of the Copyright Association of Ireland and a member of the INTA sub-committee on parallel imports.
