Sumi Nadarajah

Sumi is a qualified Irish and Community Trademark Attorney and is involved in all aspects of intellectual property management and protection including assisting clients with the clearance, registration and enforcement of their Trade Marks and Designs. She manages the Trade Mark portfolios of a diverse range of Irish and international clients particularly FMCG companies assisting with their Trade Mark prosecution and branding strategy. She also advises on domain name protection.

Originally from Malaysia, Sumi joined FRKelly in 2005 after several years with a leading Dublin law firm. She was admitted to the Bar in England and Wales in 1997 and is now a non-practising member and was entered on the Roll of Solicitors (England and Wales) in 2003.

Sumi has published articles in periodicals such as the World Trade Mark Law Review as well as various publications within the retail sector in Ireland. She is also a member of the Design Committee in the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. Sumi sits on the INTA European sub-committee on Non-Conventional Marks.
