Assumpta handles a wide range of chemical and biotechnological technologies, including general recombinant DNA technology, gene activation technology, antibody technology, chemical synthesis, small molecule pharmaceuticals, vaccines, diagnostics, transdermal patches, food products, fermentation technology and agrochemicals. She has been with FRKelly since 1984 and holds a Masters Degree in Biochemistry from University College Dublin.
Her practice is mainly before the European Patent Office where she represents clients ranging from private individuals and start-ups to large overseas and multinational companies. Assumpta has wide experience in the preparation, filing and prosecution of European Patent Applications and has also been involved in several EPO opposition proceedings before the Opposition Divisions and Technical Boards of Appeal of the EPO.
Assumpta is based in our Dublin Office.
