Filing Requirements
The name, address and nationality of the applicant and the state of domicile, seat or establishment.
List of goods and/or services (International Classification)
Details of Mark. If other than a Word Mark, 2 clear prints of the mark. In the case of a three dimensional Mark, a photographic reproduction or a graphic representation – up to six different perspectives is required.
If claiming priority – date of previous Application or Exhibition. Priority document, and translation if necessary, must be submitted within three months of filing.
Where Application is filed in English, a second official OHIM language must be indicated, i.e. French, German, Italian, Spanish.
If claiming seniority, indicate Member State or States on or for which earlier Mark is registered, date of registration(s) and the goods and/or services for which the Mark is registered. A certified copy of the relevant registration(s), and translation if necessary, must be submitted within three months of filing the declaration of seniority.
Authorisation form (no notarisation or legalisation necessary).
NOTE: Application/Registration fees include both official and service charges, but do not include VAT where applicable. Further fees will arise if there is an official objection/requirement or opposition to the Application. The fees will depend on the nature of the work and the time involved.
