Philip joined the firm in 1981 and holds an honours degree in physics and a masters degree in industrial engineering. He works primarily in the areas of physics, electronics, computing and materials science. He has considerable experience of Oppositions and Appeals at the European Patent Office. He is a member of LES, FICPI, AIPPI and Union. Within FICPI, he is the President of the Admission Commission.
