Gavan joined the firm in 1997 having spent a number of years in practice with another Dublin firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. He specialises in all areas of Irish, Community and International Trade Mark matters, from trade mark clearance to registration and enforcement. He manages the worldwide trade mark portfolios for several Irish clients, notably in the entertainment field. Gavan is the firm’s representative on the Trade Mark Law & Practice Committee of the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. He is an overseas member of the UK Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) and is a regular attendee of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA) annual meeting.
