Brenda joined FRKelly in 1976 and became a Partner in 1989. She is a Trade Mark Attorney practicing before the Irish Patents Office, EU and UK Intellectual Property Offices and represents many Irish and foreign corporations. She also has a significant practice in Domain Name issues and UDRP and ccDRP. Brenda was part of a working group that drafted the .IE Dispute Resolution Policy and works with the Irish Domain Name Registry (IEDR) to develop Policy Development Processes.
Brenda is an active member of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA) and has served on committees for over 20 years dealing with issues such as anti-counterfeiting legislation and enforcement, office practice, model law and is currently on the INTA EUIPO Subcommittee on Trade Mark practice. Brenda is also a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
