SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Richard graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with an honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After his initial studies, he spent 2 years working in the stress engineering department of a large international aerospace manufacturer, carrying out structural analysis and design of both business and commercial aircraft. He joined FRKelly in 2017 and specialises in mechanical, agricultural, medical device, and aerospace inventions.
He spent two years in the USA, during which time he gained an MBA qualification. Richard returned to Ireland after accepting a role with a Belfast based IP firm, where he gained experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications across various areas of technology.
