By their own admission, it is not often that FRKelly get to register Trade Marks in exotic locations such as Grenada and Guatemala.  Then again, Fyffes is no ordinary company.

It is steeped in history, producing and supplying tropical fruit for over 130 years and is Europe’s number one supplier in the banana market (see www.fyffes.com).

The oldest FYFFES Trade Mark Registration with the blue label dates back to 1929 and is one of the oldest Trade Mark Registrations on the Irish Trade Mark Register.

Against this historical background, FRKelly’s engagement over the last 30 years as the global custodian of our intellectual property rights (Trade Marks, Patents, Designs in plant varieties) is relatively recent but is indispensable to the importance to which we attach our intellectual property rights.

We are able to obtain prompt and comprehensive advice on all our IP issues on a global basis.  The date (1 April 1996) of the FYFFES European Union Trade Mark Registration coincided with the date that the now called European Union Intellectual Property Office first opened for business.
